On the show, the artist always puts her culinary skills on display and in fact, she recently had an episode with chef Gordon Ramsay. Now, the artist continues to make her mark in the world of television and will soon make her debut on the Apple TV+ streaming platform.
Apple today took it upon themselves to spread the news that a documentary about the singer called 'Selena: My mind and Me' is on the way. The documentary will tell us all about the singer, songwriter, actress, producer, businesswoman and activist. Specifically, the last six years of her career. The entire project is in the hands of Alek Keshishian, she will be in charge of producing and directing the documentary. Keshishian had previously directed Madonna: Truth or Dare, "one of the most influential films of its genre."
"After years in the limelight, Selena Gomez achieves unimaginable stardom. But just as she reaches a new peak, an unexpected turn pulls her into darkness. This uniquely raw and intimate documentary spans her six-year journey into a new light," a press release reads.
This project marks Apple's second collaboration with Lighthouse Management + Media and Interscope Films. The first time was in the documentary of the artist Billie Eillish which, in fact, was nominated for a Grammy.
Currently, it is unknown when this project will see the light of day. As far as is known, production has not yet started, so it will probably be available in 2023 or 2024.
