Netflix's '365 days' erotic saga star Michele Morrone officially joins the cast of 'The Housemaid', upcoming film of 'A Simple Favor' director starring Sydney Sweeney and Amanda Seyfried. The movie is an adaptation of the novel of the same name by Freida McFadden, with Rebecca Sonnenshine ('The Boys', 'Archive 81') in charge of the script.
'The Housemaid' would be the second time Michele Morrone works with the director, since he is also going to star in the upcoming 'A Simple Favor 2' alongside Anna Kendrick and Blake Lively, so Feig definitely sees something special in Morrone, if he wants to bring him along so soon to another of his projects.
We knows the thriller follows Millie (Sweeney) a young woman in need of a fresh start that starts working as a housemaid for a rich marriage, before finding out the family has secrets that are far more dangerous than she can handle.
We don't know what role Morrone is going to play or many more details about the plot, since we don't know how close to the book is the adaptation, but given his history, it's most likely someone dangerous and mysterious coming into the family's life.
There's not a trailer nor an official first look, since the movie is not in production yet, but we'll probably be seeing a lot of him and both of Feig's movies in the upcoming year, given the big names attached to it.
