Mahi V Raghav

Mahi V Raghav is an Indian film director, producer, writer and entrepreneur who works in Telugu cinema, he is notable for the films Yatra and Anando Brahma.

Mahi V Raghav began his film career as co-producer for the movie Villagelo Vinayakudu and Kudirithe Kappu Coffee. He is one of the owners of Moonwater Pictures Production Company.

In 2014 Mahi debuted in direction with the movie Pathasala, which is written by Mahi himself.

After the critically acclaimed Paathshala, Mahi directed Anando Brahma in collaboration with 70mm Entertainment with Taapsee Pannu, Vennela Kishore, and Shakalaka Shankar being the actors.

With some well-conceived sequences, Anando Brahma broke cliches related to horror comedies. In 2019 Mahi and 70 mm entertainment ventured into their 2nd project in collaboration, titled Yatra.

Movie Yatra is the biopic of ex-chief minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy. Mammootty played the lead role of Y.S.R.

Yatra is less a biopic and more an event-based film, focusing on what led to the defining padayatra that led to YSR becoming the chief minister in 2004.
