Antonin Artaud

Antonin Artaud was born on September 4, 1896 in Marseille, Bouches-du-Rhône, France as Antoine Marie Joseph Artaud. He was an actor and writer, known for The Passion of Joan of Arc (1928), Napoléon Bonaparte (1935) and Lucrezia Borgia (1935).

He died on March 4, 1948 in Ivry-sur-Seine, Val-de-Marne, France.
