Aad van Toor

Adriaan van Toor was born on the 30th of October 1942 as the younger brother of Bas van Toor. His brother persuaded him to join the circus. In 1959 they worked with the circustheater where they develloped acts under the names: "The Melton Brothers" and "The Crocksons".

Under that last name, they also recorded some songs.

Rudi Carrel asked them to write material for "Pipo de clown" and they also performed on a tour for the "Nederlandse Spoorwegen met Willeke Alberti en Fred Kaps".

In 1975 they went to the Dutch producer Joop van den Ende with the idea to create a television program for children.

They eventually stopped working with Joop van den Ende, but they continued their very succesful program under the name: "Bassie en Adriaan". IMDb Mini Biography By: flokkert
