Tess Meyer

Tess Meyer is an Australian screenwriter and creative development executive living in San Francisco.

She deals in big dreams and scary nightmares, with a duel specialty in animated family films and TV series as well as live action elevated genre and sci-fi thrillers.

In 2019 Tess relocated to LA and concluded six years at Australian animation power house, Flying Bark Productions.

Her latest CGI animated feature film (Maya the Bee: The Golden Orb) and TV series (100% Wolf TV) as development producer working across story and creative from concept generation through to scripting were greenlit and went into production in 2018.

Her first CGI feature film as a screenwriter for an international IP is set to hit pre-production in mid 2019. Independently, she creates, writes, and develops with talented filmmakers across platform and genre.

Her multi award-winning feature-length project, Skinford, was released in 2017 on Blackpills in Europe, VICE in the US and SBS Viceland in Australia. Skinford: Chapter 2 enjoyed a limited 2018 released in Australian cinemas and is scheduled for online release in 2019.
