Christopher Glenat born just outside Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, grew up spending most of his time outdoors where you could usually find him working on some project and being creative in one form or another.
From an early age he liked working with his hand, being creative, and problem solving.
As he got older his interests focused on sport and he excelled immensely in track and field where he was very well known and held several sprint and long distance track and field records for many years.
At his peak in his early teens and being a member of the Canadian Junior Olympic track and field team he had his sights set on the Olympics when health issues pressured him to drop out of sports all together.
After high school he traveled and worked for a year before pursuing university for Electronic and Computer Engineering.
Upon completion he moved to Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada where he attended University for Advanced Robotics and Automation Engineering which he received his masters.
After university he was immediately hired by a very successful local multimedia and video game development company, Radical Entertainment, which produced many games for the Simpsons, ESPN, CSI to name just a few.
After spending twelve years in Vancouver Chris decided it was time for a change and moved back to Winnipeg. On his return he started his own technology business still in business to this day.
One day while returning from a business meeting he noticed a local casting company looking for background for a feature film to be shot in Winnipeg and surrounding areas, "A Dog's Purpose".
Walking past the line of people he was approached by someone working in casting and asked if he would be interested in sending his picture and information.
He was intrigued and he sent in his information and a badly taken picture from an old cell phone assuming he would not hear back. To his surprise, shortly after he was asked to come in for a fitting for a feature background role.
Although the feature role was cut from the final production the seed had been planted and he has progressing in the acting world ever since with many featured roles.
In his spare time you can still find him working on Classic cars, restoring antiques, working out, and forever learning something new.
