In Manchester's Pepperhill Estate, cousins and gang leaders Ray and Terry have always relied on each other. Ray, tired of gang life and in love with Clare, wants out.

But Terry, obsessed with keeping Ray in the gang, won't let him leave. While they're in prison, the Chinese Triad kills a gang member. As revenge looms, aging gangster Bernie struggles to maintain peace.
