Poppy Shakespeare

N has been a day patient at a north London psychiatric hospital for 13 years - her ambition is to never leave. Then she meets glamorous new patient Poppy Shakespeare, who is convinced that she's not mad.

While N can't understand Poppy's desire to escape, she commits to help her new friend. But how does one go about proving their sanity when in order to do so they must first appear to be mad?
