Architects Lebbeus Woods and Steven Holl were friends for many years. Woods was preoccupied with the pursuit of a visionary architecture, and did not wait or search for commissions.

In contrast, Holl's buildings can be found yjroughout the world. This film documents the project Holl commissioned Woods to design right before his passing in 2012, a four-story pavilion in Chengdu, China.
