Cathy, a judge in a small provincial town, has a car accident on her way back from meeting her lover Eric . At the clinic where she is recovering she thinks she saw a woman’s corpse being put into a car.

Once she gets home she finds out that Eric’s wife was found dead at their home. He’s first on the suspect list but they can’t unveil his alibi.
