The Ants Go Marching One By One is a popular children's song, whose author is unknown. The melody of this nursery rhyme is to the tune of the American Civil War song "When Johnny Comes Marching Home".

In this rhyme, the group of ants will be seen working hard and collecting food for winter. And on the other hand, the starving Grasshopper tries grabbing food which ants collect but he gets nothing.
