The Canal du Midi is located in the south of France, begins at Etang de Thau and leads up to Toulouse. It is certainly one of the most beautiful waterways in Europe for boating.

Additionally it leads through some of the most scenic countryside and offers recreation and pleasure, not only for charter-boat travellers, but also for hikers or bikers along its banks.
