Austria is located in the heart of Europe and throughout the country the run-up to Christmas is celebrated by visiting its extremely popular Christmas markets or "Christkindlmärkte" .

We visit markets and sights around the country from the fabulous array of stalls around Vienna's Town Hall to the handicraft huts in mountainous Tyrol.
