Marie and Sarah test the boundaries of love and friendship while on holiday on the beautiful island of La Palma. One night they sleep together on the edge of a dusty volcano.

Marie hurries to leave the island and runs into the arms of her slightly older boyfriend, Ben. A few months later, Sarah shows up at the door pushing her to make a decision.
