Horticulturist Teresita (Nora Aunor) and sky-diving enthusiast Rex (Christopher De Leon) have been sweethearts for five years.

However, things change: at a business meeting, Rex meets the vivacious but fidgety Sandra (Vilma Santos), an artist who needs tranquillisers for her nerves.
