Gullible Guy (Frank Whaley) lands a job as personal assistant to Buddy Ackerman (Kevin Spacey), a repulsive, cutthroat studio exec. Guy is eager to climb the ladder of success, but Buddy stops at nothing to grab credit and foil Guy's plans.
