Raw Recruits

For 45 British teenagers, it's day one of Basic Army Training in Harrogate. For the next 22 weeks they'll leave their civilian lives behind and be known as 19 Platoon of Burma Company.

At only 16 and 17 years old, they're taking on the challenge to become Britain's youngest soldiers. No other European country trains their soldiers this young.
