Toña Machetes

Toña Machetes is a brave woman who managed to rise above the social prejudices of the 1930s because she was the illegitimate daughter of a gamecock breeder (gallero).

As the owner of a large land estate, she is wealthy and feared for her character. Toña lives separately from her aristocratic husband and is constantly threatened with death.
