Britain's Preserved Steam Railways - Wales

We'll take you through the beautiful countryside of Wales and its magnificent steam railways. Railways were first built in Wales in 1832. These railways were re-opened in 1982 for passengers.

In 1980 The Welsh Highland Railway was transporting passengers again. Travel 3,500 feet to the top of Mt. Snowdon whose railway was established in 1896.
