Pony Express

In 1860, Buffalo Bill Cody (Charlton Heston) and Wild Bill Hickok (Forrest Tucker) are commissioned to establish the necessary Pony Express relay stations along a quicker route to Sacramento.

Amongst those violently opposed to the Pony Express are Evelyn Hastings (Rhonda Fleming) and her brother - rebellious Californians who believe their state will fare better if it is isolated from the Union.
