Smoky Mountain Park Rangers

It’s autumn in Great Smoky Mountain National Park, and a small team of skilled Park Rangers and biologists are working overtime to protect, manage, and study all of the incredible species that call the park home as they prepare for winter.

Whether rescuing orphaned black bears, tagging monarch butterflies, or conducting controlled burns, it’s just another day in the lives of Park Rangers.
