The Black Arrow

Richard Shelton, a young English well-to-do orphan, tries to find the truth of his father's death from his Guardian. The quest is complicated by the War of the Roses raging through a countryside with Landowners and Nobility changing sides constantly.

His only allies are a band of outlaws living in the forest and another ward of his Guardian- a girl who disguises herself as a boy.
