Brian, a young child, has been traumatized by the punishments of his alcoholic and violent mother.

She uses him as a house slave, forcing him to take care of her and his brother Josh, who is confined to a small, dark, locked room because, according to the mother, he is very sick.

One day, while trying to defend himself against another violent punishment, Brian unintentionally kills his mother.
