After Emily's significant other is killed in a plane crash, she starts seeing Dr. Rachel Thorne, a psychiatrist who manages to pull her out of her catatonic state. When Dr.

Thorne starts to develop a fixation on Emily (who bears a strong resemblance to her daughter who was in a terrible accident some years before), Emily must find a way to defeat a woman who knows her every weakness.
