Darnell Jackson and Tracy Lavelle, two Chicago teens, take different paths when Darnell persuades Tracy to skip college and join the military. Their mission in Ukraine goes tragically wrong, forcing Darnell back home to face a corrupt mayor and a city consumed by hate.
