In the dephts of a mid-life crisis as he hits his forties, Zurch filmmaker Stefan Keller is obliged to take a second job due to financial problems. Sent on a mission to assess youth hostels, anonymously, he travels all over Switzerland just before the Christmas holidays.

This journey proves to be an odyssey.
