Few people know the remarkable story of the tiny island of Alderney in the British Channel.

Almost entirely evacuated before the Nazis occupied the island it was the only island to have a concentration camp and one of Hitler's key defensive locations for his Atlantic Wall.

This series tells the story of the evacuation, occupation and return to Alderney by the people who were there.
