Lucía convalesces from the leg injury she suffered in the previous film. Her friend Ceferino and the undocumented Coyote Chico help her escape. They introduce him to a doctor who has his license suspended for distributing drugs and who is the leader of a trafficking gang.

His life will take an unexpected turn.
