"Ticket Out" is set in the world of the controversial underground railways that aid women and children escaping from abusive and sometimes murderous spouses.

Jim, a taut and mysterious character, seemingly aids Jocelyn and her children in the flight from her vengeful ex-husband. In crossing state lines, Jocelyn finds herself and her children pursued by the FBI and a ruthless private investigator.
