Classic Time Team

Season 1 begins in the ancient times of Europe, when the countryside was brutal and technology was budding. The Time Team explores King Alfred's last kingdom, England under Roman rule, a busy medieval market town, and an incredible man-made island in the middle of a lake. The team even experiments with some medieval boat construction.
