Early 1939. After the defeat in the Battle of the Ebro, the republican civilian population began a massive flight to France.

Women, children and the elderly were joined by the thousands of Republican soldiers who, little by little, and seeing defeat approaching, were deserting.

This is the love story of Guillermo and María, a republican soldier and his loved one during the flight to France.
