An American botanical expedition sets out for the Himalayas to gather plant specimens. But something strange happens. They discover a new form of life, a den of Yetis.

They trap one and bring it back to Los Angeles for further scientific experimentation. The beast escapes as the customs officers debate whether it is animal or human.

It causes mayhem in true Frankenstein fashion.
