The Uncle

Yugoslavia, late 1980s, or so it seems. A family welcomes their beloved uncle who has returned home from Germany. The reunited family enjoys their Christmas meal until a smartphone starts ringing.

The illusion is shattered. It is not the 80s, and it is not Christmas either. Suddenly it's not just the turkey that can be cut with a knife - it's also the lingering tension in the air.
