Holy Silence tells the dramatic story of the actions – and inactions – of the Vatican in response to the rise of Nazi Germany and the unfolding horrors of the Holocaust.

The film focuses on American officials – ranging from humble priests to a determined president – who worked behind the scenes to influence Vatican policies that were being shaped by two very different popes during this period.
