The Little Princess

When her father leaves for the Boer War, young Sara Crew is placed in a private school where she lives a wonderful life, at first.

After her father becomes listed as missing in action, Sara is unable to pay her tuition, causing her life to steadily decline from one of plenty to that of a maid.
