The Story of Us: A PBS American Portrait Special

This year, PBS asked people across the country to share short stories about their lives in order to inspire a nationwide conversation about what it really means to be American today.

Thousands of people have contributed stories to the project, and this special curates hundreds of them into one extraordinary short documentary.
