Both the Americans and Russians have a two person base on the Moon. The American station is staffed by a group of half-crazed men, and the Russians are a well adjusted male-female team.

Comedic chaos erupts when Peter Mattemore (Jerry Lewis) and his bride-of-convenience, Eileen (Connie Stevens), are sent to a lunar space station to monitor the weather.
