The Invisible Girl

The body of seventeen-year-old Aurora Ríos appears at the door of her high school on the first night of the local festivities in the Andalusian town of Cárdena.

Two parallel murder investigations begin. Civil Guard lieutenant Miguel Ángel leads the official one, and his daughter Julia carries out an informal one.

Julia is special. Her gifted mind and neurodivergence make her a natural-born, intuitive and brilliant detective. Julia and Aurora became classmates when Julia arrived in town a year earlier.

Aurora's difficult family past tormented her and was the talk of the town. That's why she kept to herself and earned the nickname ""the invisible girl."" Aurora helped Julia when she first moved to town.

When Julia got close with the rest of their friend group, Aurora became more distant. Now Aurora is dead. Why? Who could have committed this brutal crime?

Julia's strong moral compass and indebtedness to Aurora drive her to solve the mystery and find the killer.

This case isn't easy for him. His parents were from Cárdena, but he spent many years out of town. After his wife died, he decided to return with his daughter Julia because he thought they would feel supported there.

But now any one of his friends or neighbors could be the murderer.

Julia's obsession with solving the case will prove to be a source of conflict between father and daughter and further strain their tenuous relationship.
Julia and Miguel Ángel will start to solve the puzzle separately and embark on a journey full of enigmas, clues and traps.

Nothing is what it seems in Cárdena. Everybody keeps secrets and is a suspect.

Julia will stop at nothing until she solves the crime, even if it means risking her own life.
