A Haredi family living in an ultra-Orthodox neighborhood of Jerusalem reckons with love, loss and the doldrums of daily life. In this season, both Akiva and Shulem find new love, and need to make compromises and difficult choices in order to keep it.

Ruhami falls in love and secretly gets married, against the entire family's wishes. Akiva wins an art award, and is forced to choose a path.
