Kumaresan, a newly-recruited constable, joins the special task force 'Operation Ghosthunt' to capture Vaathiyar Perumal, the leader of an extremist group, Makkal Padai.

However, Kumaresan faces a moral dilemma when he witnesses the extent of police brutality against the villagers in the name of interrogation.
