Disney's D23 Expo has brought us a lot of news. At this convention Disney has announced many projects that are already underway, as well as new ones that are about to start and others that are about to be released, for example, one of those projects is 'Disenchanted' and 'The Mandalorian', which already have an official trailer. But these are just one of the few projects Disney has been holding back. It was during this convention that it was totally clear that 'Inside Out 2' is already in the works. The project is officiall and will be available in the summer of 2024.
After the success the first film generated in 2015, fans always wanted a sequel. In fact, the ending of the original film left the door open to a logical sequel. The ending of Inside Out demonstrated that it is possible to explore adolescence from inside the protagonist through the representation of her emotions.
Although in 2016, Pixar president Jim Morris made it clear that they were not looking to make a sequel to this film, that was six years ago. There are already several times that Pixar has focused on old projects and expanded them, for example, Lightyear, the film that expands the Toy Story universe, or on the other hand, Finding Dory, which does the same with Nemo.
Other announcements from the first day of the 2022 D23 convention for Disney fans included upcoming projects, "Peter and Wendy", "MUFASA", "Snow White", "Win or Lose", "Wish" , "Strange World","Iwaju" and "ELIO". There were also updates on the upcoming films "Haunted Mansion", "Disenchanted", "Elemental" and "Hocus Pocus 2". But that's not all, we will soon hear about more projects from Disney.
