Big Time Rush's European tour hit a startling snag this week when band member Logan Henderson suffered a severe knee injury mid-performance, forcing an emergency trip to the hospital.
The incident occurred during the band's sold-out show in Krakow, Poland, on Thursday. According to reports, Henderson sustained a significant laceration to his knee while performing one of the group’s high-energy numbers, "Love Me Love Me."
The injury happened when Henderson slid down a set piece and his leg reportedly struck something, causing his knee to open with a "seriously graphic" gash.
Sources close to the band confirmed that emergency responders transported Henderson to the hospital via ambulance. A doctor closed the deep wound with a single, large suture to promote proper healing.
Bandmate Carlos PenaVega addressed the crowd during the show to update them on Henderson's condition, assuring fans that Logan was doing fine and that the concert would continue while he received medical attention.
The "In Real Life Worldwide" tour, known for its extensive setlist featuring every song from the original Nickelodeon series, is a massive production for the reunited boy band. Despite the painful setback, Henderson took to Instagram shortly after the incident to personally reassure Rushers that he was "doing A-OK."
Henderson plans to rejoin the tour as quickly as possible. However, the typically high-energy choreography may require some adjustments once he returns to the stage.
While we hope that everything will be good in the end, in the meantime you can watch an interview with the artist about the tour here: Logan Henderson discusses the Big Time Rush Worldwide Tour.
