'The Parenting': Max horror comedy streaming this March 13

When times are tough, there's always a horror comedy ready to save the day and 'The Parenting' is just that. A Warner Bros. Pictures production for Max streaming service that started production back in 2021 with a screenplay by television writer Kent Sublette and director Craig Johnson.

The cast, led by Nik Dodani (Atypical) and Brandon Flynn (13 Reasons Why), including legendary names in the industry like Brian Cox, Lisa Kudrow and Parker Posey, with Edie Falco, Dean Norris and Vivian Bang completing the cast.

'The Parenting' follows Rohan and Josh (Dodani and Flynn) and their parents as they stay for a weekend in a rental house in the middle of nowhere in the hopes to get to know each other and become a close family in the future, but the vacation goes all wrong when they discover an evil entity inhabits their rental.

Channeling the chaotic energy of iconic horror parodies of the past, the trailer shows that they're using the comedic expertise of this cast to the fullest, putting them in outrageous situations as they try to appear normal and keep appearances in front of each other.
