Filming just began for Kornél Mundruczó's upcoming drama film 'Place To Be', and with the team shooting in Sydney, we got news about all the faces joining in the two leads Taika Waititi ('Jojo Rabbit') and Ellen Burstyn ('Pieces Of A Woman').
Pamela Anderson ('The Last Showgirl'), Venezuelan actor Edgar Ramirez ('Emilia Perez') and actress and film producer Lena Waithe ('Dear White People') are the ones joining Brooke (Burstyn) and Nelson (Waititi) in their journey and unlikely friendship from California to New York in their quest.
'Place To Be' is the second time Ellen Burstyn and Kornél Mundruczó work together after 'Pieces of a Woman' and writer and director made clear that he has been wanting to direct Burstyn in a leading role, with S'YA Concept and Screen NSW producing this project.
Filming started just yesterday so it might be some time until we here more details about the film or see some official images, and even more before a distributor lands a deal and can share a premiere date for the United States, but in the mean time, there will probably be some leaks from the set up on Reddit in no time.
