Peter Greene, the actor famous for his roles as memorable villains in Pulp Fiction and The Mask, has died.
His manager, Gregg Edwards, confirmed that authorities found Peter Greene deceased in his Manhattan apartment on Friday.
The discovery happened after a neighbor noticed music playing from the apartment throughout the entire night.
When Peter Greene did not answer a knock at the door, the neighbor contacted the police. Officers arrived to conduct a wellness check and found the actor inside.
While the New York Daily News first reported the news, the specific cause of death remains unknown.
Peter Greene began his acting career in New York City during his 20s. He earned his first film role in the 1992 movie Laws of Gravity.
However, he quickly became a go-to actor for intense characters, working with major directors like Quentin Tarantino in Pulp Fiction and Bryan Singer in The Usual Suspects.
He also appeared alongside Denzel Washington in Training Day and Martin Lawrence in Blue Streak.
In recent years, Peter Greene focused on social issues. He co-produced and narrated a documentary titled From the American People: The Withdrawal of USAID.
The project examined the global impact of changes made to the U.S. Agency for International Development.
Peter Greene most recently appeared in the 2025 series Dope Thief. He leaves behind several upcoming projects and is survived by his brother and sister.
