Josh Hutcherson is now replacing Miles Robbins in the upcoming Untitled HBO Rachel Sennott Project. After shooting the pilot episode with the original cast the series underwent somre screenplay changes that ended up with Robbins needing a replacement.
Now, the series starring Rachel Sennott ('Bottoms'), Odessa A'Zion ('Until Dawn'), Jordan Firstman ('English Teacher') and True Whitaker ('Godfather of Harlem') also includes Josh Hutcherson, in his return to TV in almost 5 years, with his most recent acting job being the 'Five Nights at Freddy's' sequel coming out this December via Universal Pictures.
We also know that Leighton Meester ('Gossip Girl'), Quenlin Blackwell and Emily Tremaine ('The Blacklist') are appearing in the show in minor roles.
Now about the upcoming comedy series, we know it will follow a group of 5 friends with a codependent relationship reuniting after spending time apart only to realize that things are different now. Friend group drama is nothing new to TV of course, but times change and so does adulthood as the world turns, so it'll be interesting seeing how these adults act in the current difficult times, specially if you're living in a big city full of ambition.
We don't know when the series will premiere, but we do know shooting is already happening so we'll probably be seeing more of it earlier in 2026 on Max streaming services. Let's hope that when time comes the series has a proper title.
