Keanu Reeves ('John Wick') is reuniting with his 'Speed' co-star Sandra Bullock ('Bullet Train') after almost 20 years of their last project together, 'The Lake House' back in 2006.
The project, apart for the two main leads, will also have 'Speed' producer Mark Gordon, who is the responsible of this film alongside writer Noah Oppenheim. It doesn't have a title yet, but we do know it will be a Amazon MGM production, and it will be a romance thriller.
Details about the setup or the circumstances of the plot are not out yet, or even who is going to direct, but the two leads are more than confirmed to be a part of this.
'Speed' is a classic when it comes to action thriller romance, so expectations are high for this reunion between Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock, especially with the prolific filmography of the both of them since they last worked together.
Production would start early next year, considering the screenplay is not ready yet and there's no director attached to it, so we'll be hearing more of this thriller for 2026 for sure.
You might know screenwriter Noah Oppenheim for his award winning script for Pablo Larraín's 'Jackie', starring Natalie Portman, so we know he is a great writer and can pull something fresh for this genre.
