Alexa Lemieux and Brennon Lemieux, one of the most popular couples from season 3 of the Netflix reality show Love Is Blind, are getting a divorce.
The couple announced their split on Wednesday, December 3, after four years of marriage and one year after welcoming their daughter.
Alexa shared the news with a joint statement on her Instagram page.
The message explained that after "much reflection and many heartfelt conversations," they made the difficult decision to end their marriage.
They made sure to note that the choice was not lightly and comes with respect and appreciation for the time they were together.
The couple met and fell in love in the famous pods, getting married on the show in July 2021. Their wedding was on the season 3 finale of Love is Blind.
In July 2024, they welcomed their daughter, Vienna Ziva Lemieux, making them one of the few couples from the US version of the show to have a child.
While the joint statement focused on mutual support and commitment to co-parenting their daughter, court documents reveal more about the reason for the divorce.
Brennon Lemieux filed the divorce petition in November, citing that their marriage had "become insupportable" due to a "conflict of personalities" that prevents any "reasonable expectation of reconciliation."
The end of their marriage means that Season 3 of Love Is Blind now has a zero percent success rate, as the only other couple from that season who said "I do," Colleen Reed and Matt Bolton, also announced their split earlier this year.
Despite the breakup, Alexa and Brennon emphasized their devotion to their daughter and their commitment to navigating this transition with compassion.
