Actor David Del Rio has recently appeared in a family holiday photo on social media.
This is his first public appearance online since the CBS show Matlock let him go months ago, following serious assault allegations that a co-star made.
David's wife, Katherine Del Rio, shared the picture on Instagram on Saturday.
The snapshot featured David, Katherine, and their two daughters, Lilliam Kellie Wallace and Coco, standing happily beside an inflatable gingerbread man decoration.
Katherine captioned the photo, "Belated Thanksgiving fun! Deeply thankful for my family who always show up for the girls and I."
David looked relaxed and cheerful in the post, a notable change since his abrupt and silent exit from the television industry spotlight.
Co-star Leah Lewis filed a sexual assault allegation on October 2, 2025, prompting CBS Studios to remove David Del Rio from the set of Matlock and fire him
The alleged incident reportedly occurred days earlier, on September 26.
Following an immediate internal investigation, the studio terminated David's contract and escorted him off the studio lot.
Since the incident, David Del Rio has hired high-profile Hollywood attorney Shawn Holley to represent him.
While the Los Angeles Police Department stated at the time that no matching police report had been filed, the actor has remained off social media until this recent family post.
His wife, Katherine, previously defended him publicly with an Instagram story, although she later deleted the post.
Meanwhile, Leah Lewis has since returned to filming the second season of Matlock.
The show's writers are currently working to write David Del Rio's character, Billy Martinez, out of the remaining episodes of the season.
For now, David appears to be focusing on his family as the legal process continues.
